Design and build the physical systems that give Hito its precision — joints, actuators, end effectors, and structural frames that operate at the boundary of what's mechanically possible. You'll own hardware from sketch to production.

We're looking for

  • Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Experience with robotic actuators, linkages, or cable-driven systems
  • Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar)
  • Hands-on prototyping and manufacturing mindset
  • Comfortable with fast iteration cycles

Write the software that makes Hito move smoothly, respond quickly, and adapt in real time. From low-level firmware to high-level motion planning, you'll bridge hardware and intelligence.

  • Strong C/C++ in real-time or embedded environments
  • Familiarity with ROS 2 or similar robotics middleware
  • Control theory background (PID, MPC, impedance control)
  • Experience with motor drivers, CAN bus, or similar protocols
  • Obsessive about latency and reliability

Train the models that give Hito situational awareness — from dexterous manipulation policies to scene understanding and sensor fusion. You'll work at the intersection of cutting-edge ML and physical deployment.

  • Deep expertise in deep learning (PyTorch preferred)
  • Background in imitation learning, RL, or robot learning
  • Experience with computer vision and depth sensing
  • Research instincts; publication track record a plus
  • Excited by sim-to-real transfer challenges

Design the PCBs, power systems, and sensor arrays that are the nervous system of Hito. You'll own electrical architecture from schematic to field-tested hardware.
